The Company earns top business accreditation
Capital Switchgear has achieved Business All-Star Accreditation for a second successive year.
The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of switchgear for mission-critical projects. The company’s design engineers have over 50 years of combined knowledge in low voltage switchgear, control and monitoring systems. For the past 10 years, Capital Switchgear has provided total power solutions for some of the world’s most complex projects, including data centres, airports, hospitals, and industrial and commercial buildings.
Capital Switchgear has been recognised with its second Business All-Star Accreditation for its conduct in the areas of trust, performance and customer-centricity.
Business All-Star Accreditation is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
Reacting to the announcement Capital Switchgear, Managing Director Michael Sinkey said: “It is an honour to have achieved Business All-Star accreditation for a second consecutive year. For our team to be recognised again by a third-party body for our conduct in trust, performance, and customer-centricity is a remarkable achievement.
Our products perform in mission-critical environments. Our customers require complete confidence in us and our services. This accreditation will underline the belief that our clients have in our products and services and the trust they place in us.
Our mission is to be a reliable, credible and global provider of Low Voltage Switchgear to mission-critical industries. Our values are centred on three key pillars: Integrity, Commitment and Relationships. We can only do this by developing a culture of inclusiveness and teamwork”.
Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board Kieran Ring said in support of the announcement: “Capital Switchgear Ltd has achieved AIBF 2022-1008 Business All-Stars accreditation for a second successive year. We wish to recognise Capital Switchgear’s conduct in the areas of trust, commitment, performance & customer-centricity. Capital Switchgear Ltd is hereby included in the AIBF Register of Irish Business Excellence.”
Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation Kapil Khanna said the accreditation, which is now held by over 500 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.
He said: “We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
The All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF) is an autonomous national accreditation body tasked with enterprise development and the promotion of Best-in-Class in Irish business.
